- The ASICS® Novablast 5 shoes’ midsole and outsole geometry help produce an energized ride. Their tongue wing construction in the polyester upper helps improve the fit while reducing tongue movement. These running shoes are made of a rubber insole and polyester lining. At least 75% of the shoe’s main upper material is made with recycled materials to reduce waste and carbon emissions while the sockliner is produced with the solution dyeing process that reduces water usage by approximately 33% and carbon emissions by approximately 45% compared to the conventional dyeing technology. The FF BLAST MAX cushioning helps create softer landings and more energized toe-off during your training. These lace-up shoes are complemented with an engineered jacquard upper that offers more stretch, ventilation, and durability.

Been purchasing at least two colors per iteration of Novablast since Novablast 3. there seems to often be a quality control issue with my favorite aspect of the shoe, the sole. My latest version here, after just two weeks of uphill treadmill walking, the rubber is disintegrating in many spots. Also, the sole seems wider than my last pair, why? Wonder if my continued purchases are sustainable.

I love the lightness but needed to return for a larger size. I ended up going with the Novablast 4 since I felt like the 5s have a slightly noticeable coushin in the ball of the foot that I could feel as I ran.

I have used the Novablast 4 for half marathon training and loved them. I was so excited to try the 5, and they live up to the hype! They are comfortable, well cushioned, and feel noticeably more responsive than the 4. These feel more generous in the toe box than the previous model, which is nice for long runs. The upper material is more breathable as well.

Recommended to me from a local running store. I had never tried Novablast before, sticking to gel cumulus. The last 2 versions of gel cumulus werent for me, so I was looking for a replacement. Took a little getting used to, but so far this is a great running shoe. I love the cushion and wide toe box. Cushion is comfortable and the shoe is very springy like a trampoline. The shoe seems great for my knees and overall foot arch. I almost think it does better on road than indoor track. I do wish it was a little more firm/supportive, but all in all I still enjoy the shoe and plan on buying another pair when these wear out. I use this only for running, most often anywhere from 1-8miles but I feel like it would be good for longer distances as well.

Absolutely in love with them! The color and fit is fantastic. I got a wide version and size up, and they are perfect! I do not have wide feet, but my right foot gets numb in my Novablast 4 regular. So, I tried a wide version with these, and it made a huge difference!

I ordered my regular size in the ASICS Novablast 5. They feel like I am walking on a cloud. I will wear them around the house for a few days to be sure there are no issues with them, but I don’t suspect there will be. I will update if there are issues.

Excellent shoe as I wear it to touch to give out pew bound parishioners at my Catholic Church and then go out to give communion to home bound Wonderful shoe to wear with my suit to walk around and stand in a circular church then drive a mile to a parishioners house to give out communion to a homebound person be in comfortable all drss up in a three piece suit with my ASICS on and not having dress shoes on that hurt my feet when I walk around the church plus going to someone home and spending quality toe with them and give them communion only to have my aching feet wanting to get out of those dress shoes.O am so happy to have my ASICS on and not have to change and dont even know I have them on.

The cushion of this shoe is amazing! Feels like a cloud! I think they may run a tiny big , next time Ill probably only get .5 more than my normal shoe instead of a whole size. Just get them!!!!!

Recommended from a local running store. I had never tried these before, sticking to gel cumulus. These are my favorite running shoes. Cushioned and springy enough that my knees and feet are happy. I can run on road again and the spring/cushion combo helps prevent knee pain. Best value for the price in my opinion. Do run a little wide

I loved the shoe but the tongue was just too flimsy and frustrating. Had to pull it up from where it slipped into the shoe and adjust it each time I put the shoe on. It was supposedly held in place by the shoelaces but they didn’t.
