The quality of the materials used in Asics shoes is extremely poor, as they couldnt even last two months with minimal use before getting damaged. Paying $70 for shoes that only last two monthsessentially $35 per monthis completely unacceptable!

I like Asics in general, and I recently tried on these shoes in a store, and they were a smidge small, but they were not “Wide”. So I ordered Wide size on Zappos, and they don’t seem to fit any differently than the non-wide shoes! Ultimately, the toe box is too narrow to be considered a useful part of the shoe- my toes are not shaped into an arrow, for Petes sake. I got Topo Athletics instead, those allow my toes to actually splay in a normal fashion.

These fit a lot better than the Gel 1000. I do put an insert in for extra support. Need the heel cup and arch support. Have liked Asics for many years now. Hard to find White sneakers and Black without all the colors these days. Still searching for these. Settled with the Gray for now, do like the fuchsia accent color.

Asics gel contend 9 is great fit for my size 11.5 wide lady feet. The material has enough give and the toe box is deep enough for comfort on my bunion and hammertoe.

i bought 6 pr not knowing what would fit.2 were cancelled by zappos.I kept and returned 2…however one of the 2 was not what the box showed.Shoe & box did not match.ADDITIONALLY RETURNS TAKE 30 DAYS.tHIS IS UNACCEPTABLE & I WILL SHOP ELSE WHERE IN THE FUTURE.

Ordered a 7 wide, but the fit is close to a standard width. The mauve is a very nice color and they seem well-ventilated. Love the price!

Cute shoes, but my flat feet stayed just that, flat, they weren’t comfortable, they hurt in the usual places. I don’t think they had any arch support, which my feet need, but I’m not positive, plus the right shoe rubbed on the side of my foot in just one spot. Otherwise, they very nice shoes.

I don’t know why I thought I needed super expensive running shoes. Asics gel contend got my feet, hips, knees and back through 12 hour shifts for 20 years. Thought I’d give them a try for walking/running. Support is awesome for my high arches!

Toes were at the very end of the shoes with lightweight/thin socks, while sitting. Can’t imagine if I had stood up in them. Also, absolutely no arch support. I have high arches and these would have needed inserts… and there wouldn’t have been room.

I ordered 1/2 size up and wide. The shoes fit and are comfortable. I wear them as a casual walker, not as a runner.. Previously paid $140 for Mizzuno running shoes.. these are just as comfortable for casual wear.

Not the cutest shoe, but they’re really comfortable. I may have to get an arch insert b/c I have fairly high arches, but they should work well on my long walks.

Used to love the Gel-Contend lineup; order a new pair every year and they’re consistently an excellent fit and always comfortable for my feet. This year, the left shoe interior pad or side seems slightly lower on the outer foot side and if walking in them over 15 minutes, outer side of foot and small toe begins to tingle and is uncomfortable. Goes away after removing the shoe. Went back to using my old pair, and no problem at all with that shoe or any other shoe of mine. So very disappointed. I’ll be hesitant to buy in the future.

Working in retail Im constantly on my feet, so I needed something that could handle that plus a couple days a week at the gym. These shoes are breathable and conform to my high arches and the way that I walk. My feet are surprisingly, not sore at the end of a long day. Highly recommend!
