I bought a pair of these shoes and within 3 practices the grip on the sole started coming off. I contacted ASICS and after about 3 weeks they decided that the shoes were defective and sent me another pair. I have had these for approximately a month and the grip on them is also coming off. I have worn ASICS wrestling shoes for several years and these are not the quality of shoe normally produced by Asics. I thought at the price of these shoes I would be getting a quality product. I will not recommend these shoes.

Excellent shoes with improvements over the last version. Let’s see how it holds out. The tread on the Aggressor 4s started to come apart after 6 months of heavy use. Very comfortable and as expected, has excellent grip.

Previous Aggressors only lasted a season and a half. These seem less grippy than the previous generation. Inside feels better though.

The Aggressor 5 is a great wrestling shoe. With the slightest amount of water or sweat on the ground it does lose traction pretty bad. But besides that I’m impressed with the way it is built.

The fit is a lot tighter than aggressors/rulons that I have had in the past in the same size. Still very snug after wearing them for 2 weeks.

used to be my son’s favorites, but last 2 pairs fell apart. The tread pattern peels off. He has a couple older pair that have actually held up, but the new ones are junk. Asics must have changed the material or something. Will not buy another pair.

My son loves these shoes. He says they look like Spider-Man shoes, hes 16 and obsessed with Spiderman. Weve had them a couple weeks and they seem to be holding up fine. Hes gotten a few compliments on them as well.
